According to public information, Fangda Carbon is mainly engaged in the production and sales of new materials such as graphite and carbon products, lithium-ion battery anode materials, graphene and downstream products. Its main products include graphite electrodes, isostatic graphite, and lithium-ion battery anode materials. , graphene masks, etc. Among them, graphite electrodes are mainly used in steel smelting.

Earlier, Fangda Carbon released a performance report saying that in 2021, the company will achieve operating income of 4.652 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 31.44%; the net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company is 1.090 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 99.09%.

Fangda Carbon said that in 2021, supported by policy guidance, the downstream market demand will improve, the price of the company's graphite electrode products will rise, and sales revenue will increase; at the same time, the company will further promote refined management, the gross profit margin has increased compared with the same period last year, and the profitability of products enhanced. Fangda Carbon believes that with the increasing energy and environmental constraints, the conditions for the development of electric furnace steelmaking are gradually emerging, and graphite electrodes, especially ultra-high-power graphite electrodes, will also gain further development space.
